HOW CAN WE ASSIST STUDENTS' ANXIETY AND SMOOTH RETURN TO SCHOOL

Dance is not only a creative outlet but can also assist students achieve a peaceful state of mind. Participating in dance can significantly influence the moods, emotions and attitudes of our students by allowing them to express their emotions and experiences without words. Dance is universal and therefore provides our students with an educational environment where their language cannot inhibit them. According to multiple studies, dance has been proven to reduce anxiety, help enhance self-expression and confidence, and assist a child in uncomfortable settings which may usually trigger social anxiety.
