CHOOSE. DANCE. MOVEMENT.

Attention P.E. teachers!

We encourage you to choose Kinect2Dance for your next winter sports program, and here’s why.

Transitioning from warmer to cooler months can be a challenging period. Spirits tend to be lower, and the cold, dark mornings aren’t particularly great motivators for springing out of bed, so why not have something to look forward to and incorporate dance movement in your winter sports programs?

Dance is an enjoyable and engaging way to incorporate physical exercise into a winter sports program and keep your mind off Melbourne’s mood swings. It’s a great way to showcase those students who may not excel in ball sports or perhaps don’t enjoy the idea of indoor soccer, giving those who love dancing but may not be fortunate enough to do it outside of school an opportunity to move their body! The beauty of dance is that it develops more significant movement and coordination skills, strength, and endurance compared to common sports. While dancing, students also build stamina and form a better understanding of bodily awareness.

Dance also requires no equipment and less space than most indoor sports, and with a bit of help pushing tables to the side, our programs can operate in a classroom. So, if your school doesn’t have an appropriate indoor environment for throwing basketballs, then Kinect2Dance is for you!

Our Kinect2Dance programs ensure weeks of hassle-free P.E classes; all you have to do is bring in the students, dust your hands and sit back for the duration of the session.
