According to John Hopkins Medicine, music can reduce anxiety, blood pressure, and pain and improve sleep quality, mood, mental alertness, and memory. NorthShore University Health System also says that “music eases blood flow, thus reducing heart rate, decreasing cortisol levels while increasing serotonin and endorphin levels in the blood.”

 It’s the gift that just keeps on giving!

 

Many children go through mental health battles that they can probably not communicate or fully understand yet, and something as simple as music can really help them. Music exposure in Primary schools can be the ticket to success for a growing child. Pair this with dance exercise, and you have yourself one happy kid. Everybody enjoys the sound of music, and the fact that it can significantly improve our way of life without even knowing it is an added bonus.
